This photo was taken in St. Martin on Pinel Island in January 2012.

ISO 200, 52mm, F16 1/50s Nikon d300s

Converted to BW in Nik Soft

I don't know why when you view this picture it is smaller not larger. I use PS and went into Image Size. I first saved it at 1200pixels and it told me it was too large when I uploaded it. Then I brought it down to 500 pixels and it said it was at 430k. Any suggestions?

I like the drama in this image. Nice composition - good lines and balance. Excellent choice for a black & white conversion.

To upload the larger image you need to increase the compression instead of reducing the pixel dimensions.

I post at 1024 pix and save at ( quality 8 ) this gives me normally around 130-160k
I like the action with the wave breaking

Very good composition. The B+W conversion is good too. I also like the choice of a 16:9 aspect ratio.

My only small nit is that it looks just a little soft.
