I liked very much how buds and flowers were spread across this cherry branch

Canon 400D, 55mm lens @ 53mm, 1/2000 sec @ f5.6, hand held, Color Efex gradient filter.

Wonderful composition and capture Ian. I would also like to see one without the OOF back branch, but this is sweet as is. Superb image.

Love the sweep of the branch across the image Ian. Also like the framing. Really works with this image. Only nit is the lowest piece of branch exiting the frame on the right is a bit distracting. Perhaps lightening it or blurring and reducing opacity would fix it IMHO.

Gorgeous, Ian. Like a Japanese oil painting. The image exudes grace and artistry. The gradient provides a superb BG. My only nit: no larger size to look at. Fantastic. :toast:

Great details in the blooms and branch and I do like the graduated color in the background.
