Heavy Weather

Heavy Weather sandwich in Inverpolly, Scotland looking out towards the Summer Isles.

I must admit I have never seen such crazy weather even on Cape Breton, NS which does have its share. Just love it.

Thanks for looking.

Boy that is some heavy weather. I like the color temp and overall cool, ominous mood. :toast:

Lots of nice, interesting layers here, Eva. Looks like someone, somewhere is getting pounded with rain and the weather has sucked all the warmth from this scene. Facinating photo.

Plenty of dramatic weather sharing the scene with the depth of various layers in the view. The strong blue adds to the overall coolness and feel to the crazy weather we're seeing here too, Eva.

I love the mood of this shot Eva. The hint of rain on the right side, along with that wonderful lower edge of the cloud, makes this shot very special. Your composition is very well balanced, and the exposure is top notch. I wouldn't change a thing.

Eva, this reminds me a bit of looking across Lake Chamlain at the Adirondacks, but bigger. With weather like that, I would not want to be on Lake Champlain, either. The view through the darkness into the sliver of light is fascinating. Looks like those clouds are just about to eat you up!

Eva, this is a convincing and intriguing reflection of the atmosphere to me. A fine balanced composition to my eye, and your processing is spot on in my opinion.

Sure like all the layers and the monochromatic tone. I can smell the rain.

Loving the blues in this Eva, they certainly add to the mood of this. The silhouetted isles and distant land fit beautifully in your composition.

Gary.

It's not always fun, but photography has taught me to embrace the weather. This is rreally nice with the layers both vertical and horizontal. The over all blue color is nice too.

And to answer your note, yes I do go back and look when I ask a question or make a comment that might recieve a reply. I did see your response about the weather up on that mountain. But didn't want you to think I ignored the message.

This is nice, Eva. I like the way the most interesting parts of the scene are sandwiched between the darker clouds and water layers.
