Yes the black Swan is real. Her name is Blacky and I was lucky enough to get a personal invite to a friends community here in FL for a shot at this beauty. I hope to return for more. I was sad to hear that her mate was recently killed by a dog that i missed many days with chicks in the past.
As pretty as she is she is said to be kinda mean by the community. She won't let any other birds like ducks stay on the pond.

Cheryl, your exposure seems to be right on the money for this big black bird. Sad story but she has a whole community that loves her. Excellent detail in the feathers. Good job.
