Cubs at Play

Silver Salmon Creek in Lake Clark National Park has become my favorite place to photograph wildlife (yea, I really love bears). These cubs decided to entertain my group with a late day wrestling match on the front lawn of the Alaska Homestead Lodge.
Canon 40D, 100-400MM lens at 300MM, ISO 1000, shutter 1/800 sec at f/5.6.

Lovely interaction David! Very intimate as if you (as the viewer) are right there playing with the bears; maybe that is what you felt when you were shooting this. Great to have 3 eyes with catch lights here as well as claws and teeth! I do agree with Paul that it looks a little flat and could so with some contrast enhancements.
