The Masters Golf event is over and life is getting back to normal here in Augusta. I took another journey to the front yard looking for blooms and buds and liked the way these seem to be coming toward me.

Interesting point of view, Bob. I like it. I might have either included all of the lower buds or none. Just a bit distracting, but easily changed with a minor crop if you wanted to.

The bud seems to be swimming in a pool of green light - like it a lot, Bob !

The best what I like in this image is the perfect light and sharpnes of the rose bud and the reduced DOF allowing slightly blured BG. Well done Bob.
p.s. Masters was very exciting. Buba's last shot was great.

Bob, great detail on the rose, but the background is just a tad distracting for me ... maybe a tighter crop. Nice color tones on image.
