Hello, guys and girls. I missed posting and commenting here. I recently did a short trek in the mountains with a close friend. It was fun being there in the powerful winds and with the storm upon us. Fortunately for us, we didn't stay over night. Hope you like it.

And I'm happy to invite you on my blog to read the interview I had the honor of doing with Guy Tal. If photography, writing, philosophy and the unconditional love for the natural world would fuse into a single artistic expression, than Guy would certainly be one of the most notable representatives. I hope you enjoy.

Dorin, the plainness of your composition enhances the atmosphere impressively to me. Exposure and processing is spot on to my eye.

Pretty powerful shot, Dorin. The two main elements (light and trees) are placed perfectly in the frame. Very good work!

Oh yeah - my ghostship image. There's so little in there and yet it speaks so loudly. Simply wonderful, Dorin!

Dorin, this is absolutely wonderful and I'm sure you know it. Evocative work here, and that's not something easy to capture but it's what really opens people's eyes to the way YOU photograph nature.

Excellent shot Dorin. I don't blame you for not staying overnight! Sure looks threatening. Love the quality of light and mood you've captured here.

Very nice image Dorin. The blowing snow and clouds really make this a dramatic image. I like the colors as well.

Love the simplicity of your composition, which really captures the sense of the wind and blowing snow and how these trees can withstand the harsh environment. Outstanding.
