A shot of a small Lycaenidae butterfly (sorry but I’m not sure about the species), from the countryside near home- Cropped for composition, selective sharpening.
Nikon d300s Sigma 180mm; ISO 400; F7,1; 1/125; -0,33 EV; tripod
Many thanks for looking, Fabio

Hi Fabio :wavey: The incredibly sharp plant is almost stealing the show! love the detail, light, and all the colors, especially the blue inside of the wing :toast:

This is such a pretty and interesting image, Fabio. Both the butterfly and the flower are wonderfully detailed; the implied interaction of the two is great. Beautiful work on this one.

Fabio, gorgeous color and detail in this image. The solid green background really makes the BF and plant stand out. Very nice work!

Fabio, I long ago ran out of superlatives commenting on your images. So at the risk of repeating myself, another killer close up. The blue butterfly is unusal and very well rendered, but the seedheads on the perch put this over the top. :toast:

Great catch, with just the few seeds still attached to the dandelion. Great dof.
