Slender Poreleaf

I have had a hard time keeping up with all the wildflowers...since I have been stacking it has been very slow going! I was thankful to find at least one of these flowers that was not already spent!

For those of you that ask...yes this was shot outside. There was a breeze, so I kept waiting to do the next shot when it would die down for a few seconds!

Stack of 18
5D2@100mm macro
C&C appreciated!

Beautiful simplicity in the comp and background. Your patience paid off with a detailed stack.

As somebody who pretty much sticks to nature photography, I sympathize with your outdoor stacking adventures. It takes either a lot of patience or luck most of the time. When I can't find calm weather, I sometimes resort to either my commercial light tent, or using a plastic sheet wrapped around a tripod to make a wind tent that provides almost an indoor environment, but with minimal disturbance of the environment.
