This is just one of the many fine waterfalls in this area of South Wales. here is the location http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X=289922&Y=208767&A=Y&Z=115

The ledge from which the water is falling is about 30ft high above where I was standing.

Canon 5DM2, 24-105L
f/22
0.6s
and I got wet!

Looks like a very pretty place. Maybe a bit busy with elements. Could see cropping the rock off in the LRC to simplify the bottom of the image.

Lovely place Rob, and I like the way you've captured the waterfall here. I agree with Tony about the crop suggestion :wink:

Neat waterfall. It does look like a special place. I wonder about different lighting conditions, if there's a time of day or of year that would bring out more of the greens and yellows on the walls.

@Mark

It's a very shady place. Where I was standing is at the bottom of quite a deep gorge, and the sun doesn't get down to the bottom very much. The overhanging ledge doesn't help much. The noise is pretty deafening too. My ears were ringing for about 10 mins after I left the area :biggrin:
