This picture taken in the north of Saudi Arabia in place called Umlej.
I took the picture early in afternoon so that I can have strong contrast between the light and the shadows.
I hope you like it and you C&C is required
canon 5DII | canon 24-105@105
ISO 50 | F8 | 1/200 sec
thanks, :toast:

Beautiful waves of sand. Endless expanse with this view. The small sliver of shadow on the right dunes pulls my eye there, maybe because it is surround by lighter sand. This takes my focus away from the center dunes. A slight crop off that side might help. Just a thought. An amazing view any way you look at it.

Like a black and white, only in color. The shapes of the dune that mirror each other add a lot.

Good idea becuase this turned out great! I like the harsh contrast a lot. Beautiful lines curving through the midground too. I agree with Harry about that one little sliver of light braking the shadow line in the foreground.

Amazing shot Abdulmajeed. The yellow sky is a little unusual, but I love the almost liquid look to the swirling dune lines and the light/shadow play.

This is pretty stunning. The yellows are a bit unnatural to my eye, particularly in the sky, but artistically speaking it's very impressive.

Abdulmajeed,

Subhan Allah, this does not even look like sand but more like liquid metal. Fascinating.

Lovely graphic image. The overall golden color is great and the drama of the shadows works really well. While this looks great as posted, I could also see cropping from the bottom to remove the triangle of sand in the lrc for even more drama. Neat job of seeing.

This is really neat. There's almost a metallic look here. Unusual and fascinating presentation.
