Shot this last year at the beginning of Autumn, finally got around to processing it. This was taken at Rainbow Falls in the Adirondack Park. I spent nearly four hours photographing the falls on this particular day and had some nice light just before I packed up for the long hike out.

Larger version included. Thanks for looking and for any comments or suggestions you may have!

This is sweet! Nice in your face comp with a lot of depth. The misty atmosphere from the spray, and your processing give this a nice soft look. I like the reds in the foreground rock a lot too. NICE!

Hi Zack, This is very nice, and especially so in the large version! The colors are really nice and as Chris mentioned lots of depth. Really a beautiful falls and I enjoy the view you show us here. Some wonderful textures in the rocks and the water too.

Nice image! The colors are incredible, especially in the foreground rocks. The processing looks great to me. The middle left portion, next to the foreground fall, seems a bit cluttered, perhaps distracting from the water, but I guess we shouldn't expect the outdoors to be necessarily tidy! TFS...

Love the comp Zack. Wishing the shutter speed was just a little faster but for sure that is a personal preference. I like the complimentary colors of red in green in opposing corners.

Excellent tonal range. The thumbnail doesn't do this shot justice. No suggestions - you did a great job.

This is excellent! The composition is striking...so well balanced. And colors from orange to the faint greens holds my interest. The water adds enchantment and wonder. Well done...a keeper!

Love the golds and textures in the foreground rocks and your outstanding composition. The color is just extraordinary. I could see cropping a bit off the top, to something of a 4x5 ratio, focusing on the two cascades and the rocks, but that is a minor suggestion. Beautiful.

Very nice, Zack. Looks like a shot that I could have taken here in Austria which makes this one especially interesting to me. I like th zig-zag composition and the colors of the foreground rocks. My only nit would be the dark space next to the foreground waterfall which is a bit too dark for my taste, especially as it is so close to the main focus point in the scene and there's that stick pointing right into it.

Zack, I enjoy the way you present the cascades in the near and distance. The rocks make for a strong framing and I especially like the textures in the foreground. Excellent work to my eye.

Lovely image. I really like the transition from oranges in the foreground to the greens at the top pulled together by the silky water.

Excellent composition here Zack. The only thing I can recommend is that I would have liked to seen a bit more detail in the water motion in the front falls, but the back ones look great.

I like the image, but think a bit of selective dodging and burning would work here sort of weld everything together more.

Thanks for all the comments everyone!

Tony: I did do some dodging/burning during processing, could you elaborate a little on which areas you are suggesting need more work? Thanks!
