Turtle Motel

The garden is bursting with growth this week. A walk each day is a reward in itself. This is called beesia. Don't know much more about the plant...'cept that I like it.

I amped up the saturation giving a bit more punch.

Apr 19th...thanks folks for the comments. Phil...I did block the sun, then partially, then not, ...then sweeping my hand over the plant during a 1/2 sec shutter. This was one of the hand motion shots in which the shade/sun was mixed.

No turtles....whadda heck? Those leaves...way like a tortoise shell. But tortoise motel sounds lame.
