Lotus Flower 2

One more photo from the same Lotus Flower (see my post 23.3.) but from different POV. Allow me add short story to this flower. I've taken the photo spontaneous with hassle during golf game. Not prepared for big issue. In the meanwhile it was well accepted by many NPN members and it was also selected as "Photo of the Week" by UK Digital Photography Magazine.(mail from DPM: " Congratulations on your much deserved Photo of the Week win on the Digital Photographer web site! Each issue we feature four web winners in the magazine and so we'd like to include your winning shot in the magazine as part of our readers gallery pages."). Why I'm writing this? Not to show-up, but to express my sincere thanks to all NPN members which have contributed to my great improvement in the photography skill. I've joined NPN 6 years ago, and I can say 6 great years in my life. I hope that some of my friends and fellows from my Camera Club (http://www.brownboveri.ch/) will follow my recommendation and soon or later join NPN.:toast:

Congrats!!! Stunning shot! The angle of light hitting this is ideal. Love the centers exploding lines. Funny how we always say to avoid centering...then this comes along and centering is perfectly fine. The color of this has a buttery and creamy feel which is delicious to the eyes.

Congrats on your success! Golf and photography...I rarely have time for either, let alone both at the same time. This is an excellent shot and the warm light hitting the center of the blossom is wonderful. Very nice work.

Your lotus blooms are spectacular. I love the detailed center here and how it's nestled in the petals.
