I love the seedpods on this plant so I decided to give it a photo all to itself! It looks menacing but the spines are actually too soft to do any damage.

stack of 48
outside in the heat of the arizona noon sun under a diffuser panel

C&C appreciated!

Wow, that's pretty wild! Very nice presentation of this subject. The lighting and background are quite pleasant.

I assume you must have used a wide aperture on this to warrant all that wear and tear on your camera and computer, as well as the photographer
The 48-stack really paid off with super detail and a beautifully smooth background. Excellent lighting with your diffuser, too.

Eirini, Never seen anything like this before, so a first for me. Looks really nice with perfect depth of field on a super smooth background  - 48 frames stacked is unbelievable.

Hi Eirini :wavey: I think this is one of your best posts  because you chose a subject with a wow factor :jump: And of coarse it's razor sharp , and has fine color, like all your other work

A 48-image stack. Oh, my head hurts!

Congratulations on a fine achievement made in difficult conditions. It's a compelling image.

A very cool seed that looks really prickly. The background complements perfectly the colors in the seed.
