Coastal Sunset - Oregon

Last October I had the good fortune to make my first trip to the central Oregon coast. I made this sunset image on the beach near where we stayed in Lincoln City. It's rare to get scenes like this in Kansas ... no, wait a minute, it's impossible.

The light is indeed beautiful Wayne. The angry ocean sandwiched between the wonderful light and color makes this very dynamic. Gorgeous coastal scene.

I can't understand why you have not had more and comments on this image. The scene is absolutely beautiful. The color, light and comp. are spot on and you have created a great mood. Excellent image.

This is wonderful, Wayne. Great colors and light. I really like the backlit cloud and the cool looking waves coming in.The reflection in the foreground also very nice. A beautiful scene and very nice work. I guess this would be a little hard to get in Kansas...
