Just a week after my last post from the Columbia Gorge. Water was high then but I've never seen it this high.

Nice job Danniel! On Friday because it had rained all day thursday, coupled with the already highest levels I have seen, it was ridiculous! Places you could usually go, impassable. When was this taken? Splendid fanning out of the water here leading to the foggy background.

Mark, this is up as far as I could go without being washed away, on McCord Creek - Friday.

The foreground rocks really jump out in the large version and the colors look good, too. Nicely done.

Beautiful water action, and nice shutter speed. I do think a smallish crop off the top to remove some of the bright area would help though. Excellent processing.

Powerful, Daniel! I've never seen the Gorge portrayed like this.

Daniel, you did a great job for me with the steady rocks counteracting the dynamics of the cascades. I enjoy the delightful details as well as your choice of shutter speed. The composition is well balanced an anchored to my eye.

This is nice, Daniel. I like the texture and the greenish color in the water. There is a coherence to all the elements in this scene.
