Headwaters--Red Pebble

I've been chasing currents all spring, trying to capture not only color and light in my images but also flow, movement and direction. This composition is very simple and I'm not sure if it still falls into the abstract category. I'd like your opinion on that. Thanks for looking.

I really like the segmented yet fluidity of this waterscape. Abstract ... probably. Like it ... absolutely!

I would call it abstract, but there's just enough reality poking through to keep you searching and wandering around the image-I like it!

This almost looks like scales on a reptile's back. Very nice abstract.

Sure, abstract--especially the top 2/3 which is the keeper part, id nix the bottom cause i dont think the OOF rock in the lrhc helps the overall comp. A nice addition to the series. I wonder if it would be possible to selectively reduce the red a bit for everything except the red pebble, might help it stand out a tad bit more.

Neat looking abstract, I would crop a little off the bottom if it were mine. Nicely seen!
