I shot this little guy a couple of days ago in our garden.
I like it for the complimentary colors of the Coreopsis BG.
F/14, 1/800th, ISO 500, -5/3 exposure, Sigma 150mm f/2.8 & fill.
Monopod for support.

I like the way the mostly gray BG with the splashes of orange mimic the mostly gray butterfly (moth?) with the splashes of orange. Very cool. Thanks for including the larger version which really shows the subject detail. :toast:

Howard! I like the little guy and the great detail on him as well as the curve of the stem. I only wish the stem wasn't so busy near the Butterfly

Great colors with the grey on grey and the splashes of orange that compliment those in the butterfly. Nice detail, especially vsible in the larger version and I really like the composition
