Fragility

I have been told these small flowers, grouped in threes, are a variety of chrysanthemum - they do seem to be of the Asteraceae family, but I would be grateful for an ID. They seemed to me particularly fragile, and so I've gone for a somewhat high key effect.

Excellent grouping of the twin and triplet, Ian. Pastel shades through-out are also highly pleasing. I would let go of the small portions of the leaves in the lower left corner, but certainly not a deal breaker.

Astrantia is the ID for this flower.

Hi Ian :wavey A beautifully arranged and delicate floral composition :jump: The pastel color tones work wonderfully well with the high-key background :toast:

Ian, this is absolutely gorgeous! Perfect comp IMO and wonderful colors and details in these flowers. I think the high key look works great in this. Looks like an ideal print to mount and put on the wall! Love it!!

Yes, this is definitely a wall hanger. This would brighten anyone's home decor. Very creative with the high key look. I would probably clone out the leaves at the LLC. :toast: :toast:

Beautiful indeed! I think I would have liked to see just a little more of the leaves in the lower left to somewhat anchor the stem a bit...

Agree with Ram. Looks almost like an illustration. High key did really well by your subject. How many stacks?

Excellent Ian! I love the high key effect. I think I would crop a tad from the bottom to get right of the extra greenery there.
