I'm continuing with the theme of posting some of my images from the past few months, during which I so terribly neglected this website. Oops... This one is from the end of January when we had great snow in the lowlands of the PNW. I had no power at home for almost a week, and classes were all canceled, so I spent a few days capturing wintry waterfalls and streams in the Columbia River Gorge.

Cool! The bg is a bit murky--partly due to the mist--but i love the fg! Nice shot.

Very nice waterfall shot Alex. Lovely colors. But I would prefer this image to be cropped at the bottom.

This is a killer mix of visual elements. I love the color/texture of the foreground water, and the snow covered moss is a nice touch. Very nice work.

I like the image's emphasis on the the color and texture of the water and then the way the snow adds some highlights to the peripheral elements. Very nice.
