Tulips

A shot close to the ground of tulips at Skagit Valley. This was taken in four frames with Zeiss 35 mm on Nikon D300. I avoided the wide angle and was hoping to sweep across the arc. But only completed half of the sweep because of crowds. I did a wide angle of this with the 14-24 mm too.

Oh...with the two people...it may need to go in Man and Nature...?

Hi Ken. I really like the composition and pov of this, with one small suggestion. Maybe move just a tad more to the right to remove the one pathway between the rows. Excellent work. :toast:

Like Bob, I wish I could see these fields in person. The massive pink tulips are gorgeous against the contrasting blue sky.

Ken - This one beats the previous photo you posted by several miles. Pure eye candy - what lovely colors and leading lines. The cloud cover hanging in the background also add so much to this shot.

A perfect composition with beautiful light & color palette. I like POV, framing and tulips in very god light with the dark sky above. Great work! My compliments! :toast:

Perfect brooding PNW sky over this bright field of tulips. A very well composed image. I like the people up in the corner examining the flowers. This is most excellent, Ken!

Regardless of which gallery this goes in, it's beautiful, Ken! Wonderfully composed diagonally.
I'm glad that you included some other Tulip colors in the upper left.
