To Each Their Own

(a Headwaters Image, of course)

Interesting how different rocks respond to the same flow in different ways according to their depth and position in the stream bed. There's probably an easy analogy to people and life here, and I think I was feeling philosophic when I took this. On a purely artistic level, I like the different flows and patterns, the way the light plays with the water. Thanks for looking, your suggestions are always valued.

Very interesting patterns for sure Nancy. Have you considered high contrast B&W?

Nancy, you have a fine series going here. Your eye is seeing some nice images in the water and rocks. Only one small nit and it is probably just me, but there is a small bubble in the urc that is distracting to me.

YOu have a nice series of these abstract. Very interesting interplay of colors, shapes and reflection.

Nancy, This is another nice addition to your series. This makes me feel like I'm standing right there. I do kind of wonder what it would like like in a b/w like Eva mentioned. I might be tempted to take the highlightes down some just to see what that does. Another nice one.

Lots of cool ripple effects here. I especially like the little ring to the left of center. This one deserves to be hung on a wall. It puts me right there enjoying the sounds of the stream and feeling the warmth of the sun.

It's nice to see this area in a wider view. Interesting how your colors and textures that show up in your tighter comps are more subtle but readily apparent here. Thanks for the info on photographing this type of scene. I'm looking forward to trying it sometime.
