So, something I'd never shot, or even seen before in Yosemite!

Met up with Lon and Kyle this weekend. Preston, Harley, and Jason were there too, but they were napping when I showed up! Sorry I missed you guys. :)

Large Version too, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Thanks,
Chris

Hey nice capture here, Chris. This perspective of the scene has more of a shower spray look then a cascading view we see with many waterfalls being posted at times.
Nice work with the highlights and shadows too.

Like the idea and ss but think I would like more detail (less water) in the bg part of the image for some added interest. Becomes just white space back there. Well seen here :)

Looks good at either size. I like the balance, and I don't mind the lack of details in the ULC.

Nice intimate waterfall shot, Chris, the pool at the bottom lit by the sun adds a wonderful splash of color.

I like these intimate views of falls. Sometimes we get hung up on the grand view and miss the interesting details. Nicely done.

Great work for me, Chris. I especially enjoy the details of the rock surface, visible through the delicate veil. The flow and steadyness together makes your image very appealing for me.

I love shots like this one. Just water and rocks - that's enough for me. You took a good exposure and the water motion looks good to me.

Well done, Chris. I've photographed this often. You've done a good job of getting in tight,
successfully taking the "less is more" approach.

Chris,

Hey, sorry, I'm a little lax in my commenting these days, sorry for being so tardy.

So that's what you were aiming at eh? Excellent! and good eye - I thought you were going for the little cascade (I'm sure you did that too.) I really like the tight comp here, yet it doesn't feel cramped at all. The light is lovely and I like the extra room at the bottom.

could just be my eye, but this web version appears to have some bits of blue/green/cyan in the water, mostly in the mid-tone streaks of water. Not a biggie though, just an observation.

Well done Chris. Anxious to see more from the trip. I won't have any to post for a couple weeks probably. ;-(
