Portrait of an Azalea
by Carolyn Derstine
I found this Azalea bush blooming at my daughter's house. I don't know what variety it is but I thought the flowers were quite beautiful. The flower seemed large for an Azalea, about 3-4 inches across. I used my black velvet cloth to separate this flower/leaf group from the rest of the bush.
Canon Rebel T1i. 90mm macro lens. F/16 for 1.6 sec. ISO 100. Tripod mounted, natural lighting.
