Thank you for commenting on Bluebells 2. Here's sort of a compromise between 1 and 2. Not as busy as 1 nor as clean as 2. Comments welcome. Nikon D700, 180 macro, f5.6, 1/200, polarizer. Larger image included.

Scott: My favorite of the series. Love seeing the buds and a terrific BG. Superb shot. >=))>

Very nice. I like seeing the progression from small buds to mature flowers.

Beautiful image, Scott. I love your POF and DOF choice. And beautiful bg.

I think that this one is my favorite so far Scott. I like the compromise between the two photos. The additional blooms in the BG add nicely to the shot. Very pretty.

I think I like this one best of all for the added "pizzazz" (An attractive combination of vitality and glamour)
Very nice Scott, a real pleasure to view

Well taken. The shallow DOF does wonders for this image.

I like the way the OOF BG reflects the colors of the subject flowers. A very pretty shot Scott.

Scott:
Getting better and better with each post. The DOF is just right, not too shallow, not too deep (sounding like the 3 bears story). The leaf on the right draws the eyes a little but good as posted.

Interesting mix of line and color, Scott. Can almost feel soft, yet textured fg petals.

Cool shot. It is so difficult trying to control the b/g and get a piece of the interior bloom on hanging mini plants like this. Unless you snip off the plant and strap it to a stick. You've got the b/g and blooms shown with perfect dof too. Solid shot.
