Nice colors -- wondering what all the blue background around the blue head. Distracts me a bit as my eye keeps going to that blur -- wishing the blue blur was not there

Male peacocks are so beautiful Basri! Wish I had some in my yard. I do agree with Scott, that the blue halo around the peacock's head bothers me also.

Great looking bird with nice detail. Seems like maybe you extracted the bird and blurred the bg. If that's the case it's a good idea to invert the bird selection and copy the bg to be blurred and put it on a new layer and fill in under the bird with as close to the bg as possible. That will prevent the halo effect of color around the bird.

Beautiful bird and interesting comp Basri, the sharpest part seems to be the back and I think you probably needed a bit more depth of field to get the head sharp as well. I do notice the halo around the head.

Thank you very much for all of your C&C. I just tried to get a sort of ambilight effect. I learned a lot from your critics.
Thank you so much indeed.

An excellent bird. The head seems a bit soft, and I think the blue halo may reflect some seriously blown blue color. You've also effeictly shown the size of the head in this species in relation to the body.
