Swiss Central Alps - view from Black Forest hills during winter late afternoon. It was a cold day with very good visibility; the Alps are around 100km away from my camera.

Neat view. My first thought on seeing the thumb was that this was layers of clouds. It's even better as layers of mountains set off wonderfully by the dark foothills.

Three beautiful and unique layers in this picture. Each layer has different textures and lines but are united by the color cast of the whole photo. The lighting is also interesting; the middle layer seems sunlit but the bottom and top layers are in shadow. Pano comp works great for this. Nice find, Miro!

Excellent image. This is kind of a classical landscape, I would say. Interesting choices on the contrasts. I am generally drawn more to telephoto landscapes than wide angle lens images anyway. It works great as a panoramic.
