Shot these Pink Sonata's last year and finally dusted off the file. Might still be a work in progress. Not sure about the yellow centers....too dark?
Thanks for looking and all comments welcome of course.

Beautiful high key image Bruce! I think the centers are fine. The delicate texture of the backlit petals are excellent.Very well done!

The delicate nature of these flowers do well in this freeform composition. Good one, Bruce.

Hi Bruce, this is a marvelous high key image. A gorgeous picture with great color saturation, good balance and a good play of light. :toast:

Very nice high key effect.

Re: the yellow centers: IMO, the one on the right is looks fine, I may try lightening the one on the left a little....not too much as you want it to contrast well with the petals.

Nice work!

Bruce:
An image to make Harold Davis jealous! Love the translucency of the petals. Is this a blend of several exposures? Good as posted but worth experimenting with bringing up the luminosity of the orange a tad.

Bruce: I love the high key look. The colors are great too. I wish that there was a tad more light in the center - maybe could have been bounced there by a reflector or something.

Bruce, first of all, I love the photo. As a technical comment it seems to me that the color saturation is too high. This hides many details in the petals and also in the centers. Lowering it and increasing light and contrast in general the transparency inside this image may come out.
Take care.
