Pretty in Pink

I like the colors of this small lily. This was shot in a faux studio from a small bouquet. The light was from the window in a heavily overcast evening. Critiques and suggestions most welcome.

I love the detail in the bottom half! The top points are a bit distracting--maybe just crop them out?

Steve - The main flower is full of details - it almost resembles a well made focus stack - pretty good details front to back.

The petal tips coming out of the left edge, behind the main flower can be cloned out for a better aesthetic feel - if you like that is.

Love this flower with all its beautiful colors and designs. Wonderful details and focus throughout the flower and nice lighting. This flower would work great as a solo model; no supporting flowers needed.

Nice details and colors Steve. The OOF areas are just in focus enough to be slightly distracting.......maybe less DOF to direct the attention to the center of the main bloom. Of course that's purely subjective and would be a completely different image. :toast:

Steve:
Love the clarity, color, lighting here. A very fine portrait. There is perhaps a little too much negative space at the top.

Beautifully clear rendition of this beauty. I appreciate it all being in focus, but I agree that the left-edge petal tip and the rear-center ones that are OOF don't seem to belong with the rest of it.
