Last year we were unable to get any notable Skimmer shots and this year we have an abundance.

Now, stop it!! I am tired of being green with envy of your skimmer shots!

You need to pull back on your whites a tad, I'm thinking.

The next one better show a skimmer hanging up on an oyster shell and going tump over teakettle!

Nicely captured, I like the composition with land and water, nice pose for the bird. Agree the whites are just a touch hot on the face.

Excellent!! Great angle to get the open jaw. perfect DOF. Nice water and oof BG.

That one tiny area on the jaw is hot, but easy to correct in processing.

Do you suppose this has anything to do with your great leaps in camera and processing skills over the last year ? .

Good POV of the action Patrick, like the water spray underneath the bird trailing back..
The setting works very well, it's a great comp.
Only minor nit I have are those pain in the ass whites, they'll get ya every time
