Olympus E5, ZD300f2.8, 2xTC, ISO200, f7.1, 1/400 resting on vehicle window

Got this SEO yesterday morning on the same drive as the Osprey. This is a different SEO than the last one I posted, and was pretty skittish so I couldn't get very close. This is about a 50% crop and the bg is a green field, which was nice as I usually have a brown field as bg. Again, it was cloudy and breezy that morning so not as much light as I would have liked.

All wild and natural - no setups or baiting ever

Love the funky head turn. Agreed, the green background is a nice one. And I always appreciate "wild and natural".

Beautiful stare and nice detail. I would like to see a tighter crop and maybe with th owl to the left side not the right.

Very vivid. Are you sure you are not a taxidermist? Great shot.

Another excellent owl shot Dave. I think we need to call you the "Owl Guy" moving forward. Nice techs...especially for a 50% crop and the green BG in this is really complimentary as well.
