Nice shot. I like the very appetizing bug, good light and catchlight and the perch. The BG color looks a little strange to me and I'm wondering what the BG was.

The spider-n-beak's a big plus here Sandy, nice head-turn..She must be showing off her catch for ya
Great colors, details, DOF, and complimentary BG.
I like your comp choice using the nearly squared frame & bird off-center RT for this.
Well done!

This is very nice. That peachy background is REALLY beautiful with the coloring of a bluebird. And you have a great perch, and bug, as well. Nicely done.

I love the sweet pose and the spider is a plus. I don't find the bg too strong , just a little off for for the rest of the color scheme but it doesnt kill the image for me. The bg looks a little salmon/peachy rather than golden which would be nice IMHO.

Mighty tasty! Like the shot. Not sure how to describe the expression. The colors with the background are quite nice.

Nice work Sandy. I like the meal in his mouth and excellent detail. BTW, what makes up the BG i this? Just a very different kind of color than I have ever seen for a BG (and I like it). My only little nit, is I might have cropped this differently...for this pose being almost straight at the viewer, I would think it lends itself to more of a vertical crop, but that's of course a personal preference. nicely done overall and excellent techs!

Update...I read other posts and saw what the BG was...wow...wish I could find something that color...awesome.
