Taken from a clifftop on Niagara Escarpment in sun. Canon 7D, 400mm f5.6 lens, 1/1600 sec, f7.1, ISO400. About a 40% crop - too tight?

Very cool and an unusual angle on a /vulture, Roger. I do think a bit more room top bottom and right (not much) would work a little better.

Very nice detail and great light on the wings.

Lots of great details Roger, interesting POV and flight pose as well.
Perhaps more room bottom, especially it's looking downward

Maybe this is a little tight but I think it could work well as a vertical also if you had the room to work with. Nice job getting the whole vulture & wings in focus. The lighting and detail are also very good.

Excellent light and detail Roger, I don't mind the tightish crop to show the detail well.
