I know I have posted a ton of Roseate Spoonbills, but here's another one. I like this one because it looks soft and cuddly. :) I could not come up with any other crop that seemed to work but a centered one.

Comments, opinions and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Nice and clean shot. I am not so sure this dude is cuddly, looks a little put off tired of all the crazy photographers making such a fuss.

The centering works, but for me it's the pose that makes this shot. There's a light area in the upper left that tends to draw my eye; maybe consider darkening or cloning it out.

Agree about the bright area top left but a lovely shot. Why don't we have good stuff over here :frown:

Barbara, well done. This might benifit with just a touch of brightening. I have enjoyed the series of spoonbill photos you have posted. Thanks for sharing, hope to see more.

I think the comp works as presented Barbara. What I really like is the pose you caught!

I'd compose this in the same way - central placement is appropriated for some subjects and postures and this works well.

I don't know what weather/light conditions you had for this but it seems on thew dark and gloomy side. There's also some minor noise problems where the belly goes darker that I'm surprised to see at iso 400.
