Got this little guy this morning on my main birding route in a wheat stubble field. There were several little ones, but the parents wanted them to get further from the road. That bill sure has a long way to grow. Today also seemed to be the day for deer to have their new babies. We saw several that were obviously newborns.

Nice work, its amazing how small the bill is! I love that the image is basically all one color- very cool! DOF is good too.

Sounds like a wonderful day. This image is just beautiful in composition and clarity, and the image being almost all the same color is really striking.

I like the way the colors in the bird match the colors in the grasses. Excellent comp and detail. Very cute baby bird. Nicely done!
