What, me Worry?

I grew up with Alfred E. Neuman & Mad Magazine. There was a thought provoking quote in just about every issue as I remember..
It turns out that old Alfred is much like everyone else. His repeated statements of the "What, me Worry" catch-phrase were meant as a way to affirm to himself that everything is or will be OK..

So here's to old Alfred and better days :toast:

Striped Bark Scorpion and a wandering Blister Beetle AKA Alfred:wink:

The law of the jungle in living color. Sweet shot.

Looking at this macro shot of the scorpion, I assumed the "me" in the title referred to you, Howard, and not the beetle. I'd be nervous getting so close to the scorpion. Nice positioning of the subjects against the neutral BG. p.s., I also grew up with Mad Magazine. Thanks for the memory.

Does this beetle look worried to you?

Great shot, Howard. The scorpion by itself would have been great, but the beetle peeking over is special.. I think that species interaction shots always have more impact. Second shot has a different kind of impact, but is just as good.I was also raised on Mad.

Great interaction in nature. I kind of like the second image better. The beetle on top of the scorpion makes a very interesting visual. great image besides.

Neat shot. I've never looked that carefully at a scorpion before. It is pretty cool that the scorpion totally ignored the beetle. I too like the second shot better, it show the non-interaction even more clearly.
