Cedar Waxwing

Another frequent visitor to my cherry tree. Usually the cedar waxwings are strickly migratory and stay only a few hours. This year they stayed until the last cherry was eaten. Taken with Canon 7D, using 100-400 IS lens with 1.4 extender, handheld.

Comments welcomed.

I like the overall composition with the cherries. It looks like you focus point was on the cherry leaves as the bird is a bit soft. Great colors and pose too. :toast:

Really nice pose and habitat. Good eye, which is tough to get with a black mask.
Fine image! (but I miss the larger one - yours are always a joy! )

Very nice! I like the perch with the berries. If it was mine I would crop tighter from the bottom.
