I like the elegant look, smooth curves and whimsy of these whippet-thin honeysuckle blossoms.

Nikon d300 with Zeiss 100mm and polarizer, tripod and no wind.

6-24 3pm...thanks for comments. Sorry I got lazy and did not post larger version.

Very beautiful, Ken. I love the soft light and the flowers set against the dark green BG. The black border complements the overall look. Well done. :toast:

Very nice colors and light Ken, really stands out with the subdued BG..
Great DOF and details from what I can see at this size.
I'm with Scott, the border is tastefully done as well :wavey:

Lovely grouping of flowers with such nice detail, light and color. Like your succinct description, too; right on the mark.

Very nicely done shot of honeysuckle flowers, Ken! They are a hard flower to get all in focus and to make a nice comp for but you have done a superb job. Great colors and exposure.

Ken: This is probably the finest honeysuckle shot I've seen on the site in a long time. Fantastic color palette overall and perfect DOF management. Most excellent.>=))>

Ken:
I said to myself this is one of the most beautiful honeysuckles I have seen (before reading Bill's comment). :toast:

Simply gorgeous. The background sneaks into awareness the longer one gazes at this, with the effect being that the honeysuckle cluster jumps out at you and grabs your immediate attention but slowly releases you to be drawn into the image as a whole. :toast:
