Canon 5DII, 400 5.6, ISO 200, 5.6@ 1/250. Photographed at Kinilworth Gardens in D.C...in the rain. This is the first image in the Gallery that seems to have posted properly :-)))

Very beautiful! Lovely lines and textures - lotus are just superb flowers, but tough exposures. The peek at the center and the water drops are wonderful.
The green cast to the lowest petal is a little odd - probably from saturating the greens. You might selectively remove the green from this one area.

I like the water droplets and the ability to peak inside the flower - I think darkening the image through a levels adjustment would make it stand out more

Just lovely, Bunn! I think Lotus flowers are so beautiful and you have showcased it very well in this photo. Nice focus on the flower and great background. Love the raindrops! I would wish for more room at the bottom and not have the petal touching the edge.

Bunn: Welcome to the finest Flora gallery on the planet and thanks for a fine first post here. Beautiful flower and a very pleasing peek inside. My only 1¢ nit is the tight lower edge but that's pretty trivial. Great to have you aboard and looking forward to more. >=))>

Bunn:
You get extra mark for posting one of my favourite flowers. I like the POV with the top down look. Nice to see the drops as well. Wish for a little more room along the lower edge so that the petal tip is not touching but other than that this is lovely.

This image is full frame. Shot with prime not zoom and had backed up as far as I could get :-)) Will create canvas and add a little to the bottom. Thanks for the input.
