The Perennial Garden is one of the gardens that are included in Fellows Riverside Gardens, a ten acre free public gardens located about one mile from downtown Youngstown, Ohio. This paver path and fountain were part of a major renovation completed in late 2010, replacing a straight concrete sidewalk and non-working fountain that were about thirty years old. As part of the project, many new perennials were added, including these red lupine. If you are interested, I posted an image titled "The Shade Garden" in flora a couple weeks ago (still available in my gallery) that showed a different garden and path that were also renovated during the same project. Nikon D700, 24-120 Nikkor at 78. Thank you looking. Larger image include. Comments/critiques welcome.

Beautiful composition and garden Scott. The red lupine are stunning. I've never seen red lupines before.

Inviting image Scott, love the red lupine right and curved brick walkway that winds through the frame.
I just judged a "Gorgeous Gardens" contest, this would've been right there at the top :toast:

Lovely garden! The red lupine on the right and the winding path to the fountain work so well at creating balance and flow.

What a beautiful gardens! Love the curving path leading towards the water fountains and of course, all the beautiful plantings and decor along the way. Great comp and good lighting. Might wish for a tad bit more room at the top so the one arbor top has more breathing room. Looks like a wonderful place to visit, Scott!

I love all of the greens here and the red is well-behaved. This garden is immaculate. Rhetorical: who is weeding and dead-heading all of this? You do have a quandary between the prominence of the fountain and and the lopped arbor. I think this path in a vertical leading to the fountain would have been nice too.
