Texas Rabid Wolf Spider (Rabidosa rabida) on the prowl.
I purposely let the foot hit edge of frame to make you gals squeamish

I used flash in the subdued light, and it's given the spiders eyes a strange look..Or maybe he visited the eye doctor recently and picked up some of those "Crazy Eye" contacts

F/16, 1/160th, ISO 640, 1D M3, Sigma 150mm f/2.8 and ring-flash.
Manual focus & tripod. Negative one exposure bias.

Yes, Howard, he looks like he's about to step out of my monitor. Crazy eyes, but also good detail about the face. I do like the baby blue eyes. Excellent all around.
