This is a re-post based on feedback. Thanks to all who provided it. Since the image was full frame I had to add canvas. This is only the second time attempting this :-)) I think I am doing better posting w/o messing up the image.
Nikon D800E, 105 Macro, 910 flash.

Definitely a better composition with the flower in the frame. Beautiful looking butterfly.
The only thing I would like to see was a uniform background. The color transitions can be a bit distracting.

Wow, this is a stunning butterfly photo, Bunn! I didn't comment on your previous posting of this but in looking back I do like the comp on this one much better. This butterfly has such a beautifully vivid design and your photo shows it off so well. Well done, both with your capture and your re-editing!

Nice clean image the whites and blacks are handled very well and the flower adds to the image.
