I am not very experienced with landscapes, but I like your composition & the subject matter. For some reason I want to see a little bit of detail in the really dark areas but I don't know if that is valid or not!

Lovely play of light. The variety of greens you display is beautiful. I like the diagonals of the logs and the secretive mood of the water beneath

Craig,
I like the diagonal lines of the logs which bring some order and structure to what we all know is chaos in these forest scenes. The large version looks really good. The only small nit/suggestion I have would be to clone out the errant stick at the bottom. Understand not much could be done at the time, but it's slightly distracting. Otherwise, nicely seen and crafted.

Craig, I too like the diagonal lines of your comp. The light and color are also very nice, and I especially like the looks of the water. The branch in the lower left corner could maybe be cloned out if you felt like it. It kind of takes away from the nice flow the rest of the image has. I enjoy the large version!

I like the elements and the light. The main problem I see is that the repeating diagonals sort of stop with the tangle of foliage in the ULC. Burning it darker could maybe strengthen this sense of the parallel trunks.
