There is a realism here that captures what it's like to be listening to and photographing falling water. Definitely had the right light for this.

Andrew,

I too like the diffused lighting here. What a lovely set of falls! I like that there seems to be a hint of absorbed green in some parts of the falls. The only suggestion I have is a little more sharpness for the web and maybe even a slight boost in contrast.

Very natural appearing image of these beautiful falls. The soft light works well. The image, especially the larger image, seems a bit soft. Wonder if needs a bit more sharpening for the web, or perhaps this is due to the mist. Nicely done.

Good shot Andrew. I like that shutter speed. You might want to experiment with cropping just a little of the water in the FG off.

REPOST I hand blended the images again and came in tighter. The falls should be crisper now.

Is it better ????

Nice even lighting-- what a treat. Lovely falls; I like the hints of green in it, as it picks up some color from the forest. The fg rock on the right has good leading lines in it and acts like a welcome opening door beckoning to the falls. I might try to bring up the color in the fg area and in that rock wall and maybe even crop a bit off the bottom, to see how it compares with what you've already done here.
