A simple straight forward shot of a Periwinkle Flower. The Water Drops are remains from the Garden's Sprinkler system (not Rain or Dew). Its been blazing hot here in the last few days.

ND300s, AFD 200mm F/4 Micronikkor with 36mm ET, F/22, 1/30 Sec, ISO400, Diffuser and Tripod.

Thanks a lot for your comments on Goatsbeard Seedhead and do let me know if this one finds any favour with you.

Beautiful. The random spacing of the drops looks makes the simple comp very interesting. :toast:

Great shot, Ram! I love the drops and the placement of the centre of the flower is perfect. My only tiny nit is the big drop on the right edge that looks a bit different than the others, it distracts me a bit. :wavey:

Superb symmetry! Even the droplets seem to follow a master plan. Droplets can be vexing if they are either too black or too white in what they reflect...this is perfect.

Love the counterclockwise rotation of the petals. The sprinkler gets an assist here. Nice stuff.

Lovely!! I really like your placement of the flower center and how the curving lines of the petals lead to it. The water drops make this special.

That sprinkler system did a mighty fine job of redistributing the wealth!
There almost seems to be a pattern (the drops), to what should be totally random.
Very nice Ram & have a great week :wavey:

Ram, this may be straightforward, but it is expertly executed. I love the lines and the water drops.

This looks beautiful - the water droplets almost look separate from the petals which to me makes for a lovely effect.
