Here is another from my recent waterfall trip to North Carolina.

Nikon D300 F22 1 second Tokina 12-24 @14mm

Two shot exposure manually blended.

I am interested in your comments and critiques as I try to master waterfalls. Composition work ?

Thanks !!!

Andrew

Like the perspective of the rock wall and falls moving across the frame and near to far. I could see exaggerating this perspective even more by getting a bit closer so that the top of the rock wall is up in the upper left corner. Just a thought of course. Like the chosen shutter speed. Nicely done.

I'm a little on the fence about the composition here, Andrew. On one hand the foreground does lead my eye through the frame to the main falls. But on the other hand the interest for this image lies with the main falls and the nice greens in the background and I don't feel that there is really enough interest in the foreground to feature it so prominently in the composition. Overall your blend looks good.

One of the best shots of Hooker Falls I've seen. Great perspective.

Looks fine, Andrew. I like the wall-to-wall waterfall Exposure looks great as does the blending.

Lovely composition IMO, although I might raise the white point a little at the water seems a bit on the gray side. I like the colorful BG too; looks nice against the rather monchrome FG.
