Scotts Bluff Nat. Mon.

Rain for a change. It has been very dry here as in a lot of places. Last night and this morning we had rain and the clouds were hanging low. This is a shot at Scotts Bluff National Monument. Everything being wet muted the colors nicely. As I was shooting I got a call from a friend about 15 miles south that he had a mountain lion in a tree behind his house, so I high tailed it down there. See the wildlife gallery. Thanks for your comments and critiques.

Nice comp and I like the rain clouds clinging to the top of the bluff.

I like the rain clouds and gentleness that the overcast gives to the scene. In this case, I'd have been tempted to move the yucca over to the right so it would serve both as foreground interest and as a balance to the bluff in the upper left. Still a fine shot that shows off the area well.

I like the rich color in this image and the misty clouds but feel its a little dark overall. (probably just on my monitor) Nice view point for the Bluff and the yucca is a good anchor
