Greetings: I don't get over to this wonderful gallery too often to post. Perusing through some images from last fall and thought I'd share this and see what you think.

New Hampshire in the fall. Not much else needs to be said.

Canon 5D Mark II
28-138 @ 109mm
1/40 @ f/9
ISO 800

Larger version provided. Both the larger and smaller version had to be compressed quite a bit to fit in the size constraints.. Hope it still looks OK.

That's a lot of leaves. :smile: Nice colors. I can almost smell the place. Did you try cropping off a slice from the bottom?

I thought about it, but didn't for this post. The slight OOF leaves in the bottom bothered me a little. I'm assuming that is what bothered you as well. Thanks for the input.

Keith, I like the feeling of this image. It looks damp and I can almost smell that special smell of a damp hardwood forest.

I agree about a little off of the bottom. Just a touch too much oof. Nice colors, comp, and moment.

Agree with the crop. The damp leaves are great in this scene.

One good thing about the hikers walkin' away, you don't need a model release to use it.
