Here's another shot from our most recent tour in Ecuador. I was happy to get this species perched on this open large plant at Guango Lodge. This is about 75% of FF.

Nice profile shot of a very colorful bird, Nate. The perch adds a lot of interest to the image. Nice use of the flash (something I still have to learn).

I love coming to this forum and being introduced to new species. What a good looking little fellow and you've caught him on an interesting perch with a great BG helping the colors to really pop on this rainy day - nicely done.

Seems like a very unusual perch, which makes this photo even more unique. Great bird, nice details in the bird and perch.

I first saw this on FB, looks even better now

I especially like the wonderful colors of this bird including it's crest, & the bit rain falling through
